CosmeVox Terms of Service
Last updated: 10 September 2026 · Version 1.0
These terms are the agreement between you and us about your use of CosmeVox. Please read them; by creating an account or using the Service you accept them.
1. Who you are dealing with
CosmeVox is operated by:
WONDER TECHNOLOGY SRL, Via G. Manci, 5 ‘ Trento 38122, C.F / P.IVA N. IT 02472100227 ,R.I. di Trento n. 02472100227Email for all privacy matters: wondertechnology@pec.it
"We", "us" and "our" mean Wonder Technology SRL "You" means the person using the Service.
2. What CosmeVox is, and an important disclosure
CosmeVox is a website and web application where an artificial intelligence assistant answers questions about beauty and personal-care products.
You are interacting with an artificial intelligence system, not with a human being. Every answer the assistant gives is generated automatically by AI.
The assistant's answers are based on publicly available customer reviews and product information published on retailer websites, which we collect and analyse in advance. The reviews are other people's opinions. They are not our statements, we do not verify them, and we do not endorse them.
3. Who may use it
You may use CosmeVox if you are at least 16 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. The Service is not intended for children.
You may hold one account. Creating additional accounts to obtain extra free usage is a breach of these terms.
4. Your account
You sign in with a third-party identity provider (currently Google). You are responsible for keeping access to that account secure, and for everything done through your CosmeVox account.
Tell us at wondertechnology@pec.it if you think someone else has used your account.
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or where we must do so by law.
5. Free access, credits and availability
CosmeVox is currently provided free of charge. Access is metered in usage credits, which we allocate at our discretion and may change, reduce or withdraw. When your credits run out, the assistant stops answering until they reset or until you arrange access with us through the contact form.
Please understand what this is: CosmeVox is an early-stage product. It is provided without any service level, without a guarantee of availability, and without a guarantee that it will continue to exist. We may change features, impose or alter limits, suspend the Service, or discontinue it entirely. Where we discontinue it, we will give registered users reasonable notice by email if we can.
Nothing in this Section limits the rights you have as a consumer under Section 13.
6. What you may not do
You agree not to:
use the Service unlawfully, or in breach of anyone's rights;
scrape, crawl, harvest, bulk-extract or systematically download content, data or outputs, by any automated means;
redistribute, resell, publish or commercially exploit the outputs at scale, or present them as your own data product;
use the outputs to train, fine-tune, evaluate or build any machine-learning model or competing dataset;
reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to derive the underlying models, prompts, data or source code;
circumvent or attempt to circumvent rate limits, credit caps, authentication or any other technical restriction;
create multiple accounts, or use automation, to obtain additional free credits;
attempt to manipulate the assistant into ignoring its instructions, revealing its configuration, or producing content it is designed to refuse, including through prompt injection;
submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, or that constitutes child sexual abuse material or non-consensual intimate imagery;
upload malware, or interfere with the security, integrity or performance of the Service;
use the Service to identify, profile, contact or target the individual authors of reviews.
We may suspend access immediately where we reasonably believe this Section has been breached.
7. The answers: accuracy, and what not to rely on them for
Please read this Section carefully. It describes a real limitation, not a formality.
AI systems generate plausible text; they do not know things. The assistant can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, it can misattribute a claim to a product, and it can present a confident answer that is not supported by the underlying reviews. Coverage of products, brands, retailers and countries is partial. Product identification is inferred and imperfect. The same product may appear more than once, and different products may occasionally be merged. Prices are not included. The review data reflects a limited period and a limited set of sources.
Accordingly:
The outputs are provided for general information and research only.
They are not professional advice of any kind: not medical, dermatological, cosmetic-safety, allergy, nutritional, legal, or financial advice.
Do not rely on them for any decision affecting health or safety. If a product may affect your health or you have a skin, hair or allergy concern, consult a qualified professional and read the manufacturer's own labelling and safety information.
Verify anything that matters against the original sources before acting on it.
You are responsible for how you use the outputs.
8. Brands, retailers and third-party names
Product names, brand names, retailer names and logos referred to in the Service, including Sephora, are the trade marks of their respective owners. We use them only to identify the products and sources the analysis refers to.
We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by or otherwise connected to any of the brands or retailers named in the Service. Any statements about a product are derived from the opinions of the people who reviewed it.
If you own rights in content that appears in the Service and you object to its use, write to wondertechnology@pec.it and we will look at it promptly.
9. Intellectual property
Ours. The Service, including its software, interface, design, brand, prompts, data model and the analysis we produce, belongs to us or our licensors. These terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service as it is intended to be used. Nothing more is granted.
Yours. You keep whatever rights you have in the questions you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, store and process them for the purpose of operating, securing, debugging and improving the Service, in line with the Privacy Policy.
Outputs. As between you and us, you may use the answers you receive for your own personal or internal business purposes, subject to Sections 6, 7 and 8. Outputs are generated by AI, are not unique to you, and we make no claim that they are protected by copyright or that we can grant you exclusivity in them.
Feedback. If you send us suggestions, we may use them freely and without obligation to you.
10. Privacy
How we handle personal data is set out in the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy, which form part of your agreement with us.
Please do not enter personal data or confidential information into the chat. The assistant does not need it.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new date, and for material changes we will notify registered users in advance by email or in the application. If you do not accept a change, stop using the Service and close your account. Continuing to use it after the change takes effect means you accept it.
12. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time, for any reason.
We may suspend or terminate your access: where you breach these terms; where we must for legal or security reasons; or where we discontinue the Service. Because the Service is free, we may also terminate it for convenience on reasonable notice.
Sections 7, 8, 9, 13 and 14 survive termination.
13. Liability, and your rights as a consumer
If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms limits or excludes the rights that EU consumer law give you and that cannot be waived, including the rules on the conformity of digital content and digital services as described by Directive (EU) 2019/770 and apply to services supplied in exchange for personal data as well as for money. Where a term below conflicts with a mandatory consumer right, that right prevails.
Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows:
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the outputs will be accurate, complete or fit for any particular purpose.
We are not liable for loss or damage arising from your reliance on an output, for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit, revenue, data, goodwill or opportunity, or for loss arising from your breach of these terms.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for damage caused by our intent or deliberate recklessness (opzet of bewuste roekeloosheid), or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
If you use the Service in the course of a business, you also agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the Service or your breach of these terms.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by European law.
If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence.
Before going to court, please write to wondertechnology@pec.it Most things can be sorted out that way. Consumers may also use an out-of-court dispute resolution body where one is competent; note that the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025 and is no longer available.
15. Other terms
If any provision is held invalid, the rest stays in force. Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms; we may transfer ours to a company within our group or to a successor, without reducing your rights. These terms, with the Privacy and Cookie Policies, are the whole agreement between us about the Service.
